CleanTech Lithium Unit Files Application for Commercial Lithium Production at Chile Project

05:04 AM EST, 01/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- CleanTech Lithium (CTL.L), via its Chile-based subsidiary Atacama Salt Lakes, submitted an application to the Chilean government for a special lithium operating contract for the Laguna Verde project in Chile. The application was submitted well ahead of the Jan. 30 deadline and would allow the company to commercially produce lithium from Laguna Verde over the project's economic life, according to a Monday release. The AIM-listed exploration and development group expects to receive feedback on its application in February.
