Investor Duo Sells Avondale USPS Distribution Center for $89.8M

Westfield and RGA ReCap offloaded the Fairway Commerce Center in Avondale, a 450,000 square foot distribution center. The $89.8 million sale features a 10-year triple-net lease with the United States Postal Service. It represents one of the most significant industrial transactions in the West Valley submarket this year, according to JLL, which represented RGA. Invesco was the buyer.

Located at 12250 West Corporate Drive, Fairway Commerce Center sits on 26 acres with direct visibility to Interstate 10 and immediate access to major transportation corridors serving the Southwest region.

USPS has made substantial investments in facility improvements, including a fully automated sorting system.

Avondale sits within Maricopa County, which has maintained the number one ranking nationally for population growth over the past decade.

The JLL Capital Markets team included Ben Geelan, Greer Oliver, Bryce Beecher and Gigi Martin.
