Craft Ventures Opens Austin Office

Craft Ventures, the venture capital firm co-founded in 2017 by David Sacks and Bill Lee, has opened a new office in Austin, Texas, having signed a lease in the city earlier this month.

Lee has been living and working in Austin since 2022, and Sacks relocated to the area earlier this month. Both will now be working out of the new Austin office. Craft will continue to maintain its New York and San Francisco offices.

“Opening an Austin office was a natural next step for the firm,” said Craft Ventures President Mark Woolway. “Austin has a vibrant startup ecosystem in which we have been participating for years, and this move greatly expands our presence.”
