Harbour Energy Takes Operatorship of Mexican Offshore Oil Project

02:41 AM EST, 12/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Harbour Energy (HBR.L) said Wednesday the partners of the Zama oil project offshore Mexico appointed it as the operator of the project. The partners, which include Pemex, Grupo Carso and Talos Energy, will have the option to appoint key personnel to the London-listed oil and gas company's project team. The parties plan to complete engineering and design work on the project in 2026 before making a final investment decision. The oil field is estimated to contain 750 million barrels of oil equivalent of gross recoverable resources.
