Bittium Unit Signs Licensing Deal with Spain's Indra Sistemas

10:15 AM EST, 12/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bittium (BITTI.HE) subsidiary Bittium Wireless received a first purchase order worth 50 million euros from Indra (IDR.MC) as part of a deal to license its Tough SDR technology to the Spanish information technology and defense systems group. The licensing agreement also allows the Finnish radio communication technology company to potentially receive an additional 70 million euros over the next 10 years, according to a Monday release. Indra will use Bittium's technology to independently develop and produce high-performance handheld, vehicular, and manpack radios.
