Deep Value Driller AS Extends Amended Bareboat Charter with Saipem

03:39 AM EST, 12/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Deep Value Driller AS (DVD.OL) entered into a 31-day firm extension of its amended bareboat charter with oilfield services company Saipem (SPM.MI). The Norway-based offshore drilling company noted that the extension for its seventh-generation mobile offshore drilling vessel, Deep Value Driller, runs until July 31, 2026, according to a Monday release. Separately, the company extended Saipem's purchase option to buy the drillship for $300 million until Feb. 16, 2026, and said Saipem has an option to extend the charter by 365 days from Aug. 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027.
