The Netherlands property, Sterrenburg, was sold on Dec. 24 to a fund managed by Pertinea for 60 million euros. The sale completed the Dutch real estate investment company's planned disposal program in the country. The acquisition of Ville2 shopping center in Charleroi, Belgium, was partially funded by raising 82 million euros through a rights issue and 40 million euros in new debt. The deal closed on Dec. 17. Additionally, the company's Belgian unit, Wereldhave Belgium, raised 30 million euros via a private placement with Royal London Asset Management for a 10-year term. Wereldhave Belgium also extended 55 million euros in existing bank facilities with BNP Paribas Fortis and KBC to 2030 and 2031 from 2026 and 2028, respectively.
