Airbus Lands 18 Transport Aircraft Order From Spain

06:29 AM EST, 12/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- French planemaker Airbus (AIR.PA, AIR.F) received an order of 18 C295 transport aircraft from Spain's Ministry of Defence, according to a Tuesday release. The deliveries will be divided into two batches, with the first scheduled between 2026 and 2028, and the second between 2030 and 2032. The new aircraft will replace the CN235 and C212s used for training pilots and paratroopers.
