Glencore to Buy Majority Stake in Netherlands' FincoEnergies

11:41 PM EST, 12/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Glencore (GLEN.L, GLN.JO) agreed to purchase a majority stake in Dutch biofuels decarbonisation services provider FincoEnergies. The mining giant will become FincoEnergies' majority shareholder alongside Coloured Finches, according to a Monday release. The transaction is subject to European Union antitrust approval. Upon completion of the deal, anticipated during the second quarter of 2026, Dutch investment firm Pontex Investment Partners will exit its minority ownership in FincoEnergies.
