Metso Bags Equipment Order for Iron Ore Project in Sierra Leone

07:39 AM EST, 12/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Metso (METSO.HE) received an order from China Kingho Group's Leone Rock Metal Group to supply minerals processing equipment for the Tonkolili iron ore project in Sierra Leone. The Finnish industrial machinery group will deliver a primary gyratory crusher, six cone crushers, two vertical regrinding mills, and a high-rate thickener, as well as spare parts, according to a Monday release. The deal for the project's phase three 30-million-tonne magnetite concentrator follows orders for two Metso high-rate thickeners in phases one and two.
