GSK to Sell US Manufacturing Site to Samsung Biologics for $280 Million

07:24 AM EST, 12/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Pharmaceutical giant GSK (GSK.L) agreed to sell the Human Genome Sciences manufacturing site in Maryland, US, to Samsung Biologics unit Samsung Biologics America for $280 million. Samsung Biologics said Monday the facility will continue to manufacture the existing products, and it plans to make further investments to expand its capacity and upgrade the technology. The deal is expected to close at the end of the first quarter of 2026.
