Otovo to Acquire Certain Assets of Insolvent Solar Group Soly

05:50 AM EST, 12/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Otovo (OTOVO.OL) agreed to acquire certain assets of Dutch residential solar company Soly, which filed for insolvency in November, according to a Monday release. The artificial intelligence-native energy services company will pay 750,000 euros in cash, as well as a variable, success-based consideration in April 2026 tied to the number of Soly customers who convert to its Otovo Care service. The definitive agreement includes Soly's customer records, intellectual property, domains, service vehicles, and a pipeline of pending solar projects, but excludes liabilities, warranties, or historical service obligations. The deal is expected to close in December, subject to final documentation.
