Covestro Appoints XRG Executive as Chairman

05:24 AM EST, 12/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Covestro (1COV.F) named Rainer Seele as chairman, effective Dec. 20, succeeding Richard Pott, who stepped down. Seele is the President of the global chemicals business of XRG, a unit of Abu Dhabi National Oil, d/b/a Adnoc, according to a Monday release. XRG completed the acquisition of the German chemicals producer earlier in December.
