Some Patrick Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ:PATK) shareholders may be a little concerned to see that the CEO & Chairman of the Board, Andy Nemeth, recently sold a substantial US$2.9m worth of stock at a price of US$115 per share. However, that sale only accounted for 7.7% of their holding, so arguably it doesn't say much about their conviction.

Patrick Industries Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

Notably, that recent sale by Andy Nemeth is the biggest insider sale of Patrick Industries shares that we've seen in the last year. So what is clear is that an insider saw fit to sell at around the current price of US$111. While we don't usually like to see insider selling, it's more concerning if the sales take place at a lower price. Given that the sale took place at around current prices, it makes us a little cautious but is hardly a major concern.
