Video Gaming Group Atari Offers to Take Full Control of Thunderful Group

08:54 AM EST, 12/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Atari (ALATA.PA) is planning to take full control of Thunderful Group (THUNDR.ST) and ultimately delist the latter from Sweden's Nasdaq First North Growth Market. In a first step, the Sweden-based digital games developer will issue 350 million shares for 35 million kronor to bring the Paris-listed consumer brands and entertainment producer Atari's stake to 90.2%, according to separate Friday filings, subject to approvals. Atari will then pursue a compulsory redemption procedure at 0.30 krona per share for full ownership. If all conditions are fulfilled, Thunderful is expected to be delisted Feb. 12, 2026. Atari said the takeover is part of its multi-year transformation plan. Its initial investment in Thunderful was in August.
