Canal+ Reaches EUR363 Million VAT Settlement with French Tax Authorities

Under the agreement, a reduced VAT rate will apply on services. Canal+ earmarked 363 million euros for the settlement and expects no significant additional adjustments from related tax audits in the subsequent years. The settlement follows clarifications published by the tax authorities in September and joint work on the definition and operational terms of catch-up television.
