TotalEnergies Sells Stake in Malaysian Gas Development Block to PTTEP

01:46 AM EST, 12/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- French oil and gas giant TotalEnergies (TTE.PA, TTE.L) sold a 9.998% stake in block SK408 in Malaysia to PTTEP, or PTT Exploration and Production Public Co. Following the sale, TotalEnergies retained a 30.002% interest in the gas development block, according to a Tuesday release. The buyer is a subsidiary of Thailand's state-owned energy company PTT Public Co.
