Ashtead Group's Fiscal H1 Profit Falls; Revenue Up

Profit attributable to equity holders for the six months ended Oct. 31 was $800.6 million, compared with $889.5 million a year ago. EPS moved to $1.878 from $2.029. The British industrial equipment rental company's revenue was $5.76 billion, compared with $5.69 billion earlier. Meanwhile, the board declared an interim dividend of $0.375 per share, payable on Feb. 6, 2026, to shareholders on record on Jan. 9, 2026. It paid $0.36 per share a year ago. For fiscal 2026, the company affirmed its rental revenue growth guidance of between 0% and 4%.
