Subsea7 Lands Installation, Transport Contract for Poland Offshore Wind Project

12:11 PM EST, 12/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Subsea7 (SUBC.OL) unit Seaway7 secured a new contract from offshore wind energy company Ocean Winds for an offshore wind project in the Baltic Sea, off the coast of Poland. The BC-Wind project involves the installation and transport of 26 wind turbine generators and an offshore substation, the Norwegian subsea engineering and construction group said Monday, with operations expected in 2027. The contract was categorized as sizeable, which the company said is valued at between $50 million and $150 million. Ocean Winds is a joint venture between EDP Renováveis (EDPR.LS) and Engie (ENGI.PA).
