Aldar-Mubadala JV to Expand Abu Dhabi's Al Maryah Island Project

12:59 AM EST, 12/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Aldar Properties (ADX:ALDAR) and Abu Dhabi's sovereign investor Mubadala Investment Co. formed a new joint venture to expand the Al Maryah Island project. The financial district expansion project has a gross development value of more than 60 billion Emirati dirhams. It will target the final undeveloped land bank on the north side of Al Maryah Island, according to a Monday release. The real estate developer said the project will deliver 1.5 million square meter of office, residential, retail, and hospitality space. Aldar will hold a 60% stake in the joint venture, with Mubadala holding the remaining 40%.
