Ocado to Receive $350 Million from Kroger Amid US Fulfillment Center Closures

03:51 AM EST, 12/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ocado Group (OCDO.L) said Friday it will receive a one-off cash payment of $350 million from Kroger as the latter opted to close three customer fulfillment centers in January 2026. The US retailer also decided to halt the development of a planned site in Charlotte in North Carolina, US. The payment is due in January 2026. As a result of the site closures, Ocado expects its fiscal 2026 fee revenue to decline by $50 million.
