Relx Closes GBP1.5 Billion Share Repurchase; Plans New GBP250 Million Buyback

03:30 AM EST, 12/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Relx (REL.L, REN.AS) completed its share buyback program for 2025 and announced a non-discretionary repurchase program for January 2026. The British information analytics company repurchased 1.5 billion pounds sterling worth of shares under its 2025 program. It intends to buy back another 250 million pounds worth of shares between Jan. 2, 2026, and Feb. 6, 2026. Relx said the repurchases are meant to reduce its capital, with the shares to be held in treasury.
