Crescent Trades Research Triangle Campus for $31.5M

Crescent Communities sold Building H at THE YIELD Holly Springs, a life science and manufacturing campus in North Carolina’s Research Triangle, to Ypsomed, a developer and manufacturer of injection systems for the self-administration of liquid medication, for $31.5 million. The 110,000-square-foot cGMP building will become Ypsomed’s first North American manufacturing facility,. The Triangle Business Journal reports Ypsomed plans to spend $250 million to customize Building H to be operational in 2027. 

THE YIELD Holly Springs is Crescent’s flagship life science and innovative manufacturing campus, offering up to two million square feet of manufacturing, industrial, office, lab, and retail space. The campus is adjacent to FujiFilm Biotechnology, CSL Seqirus, Amgen, and Genentech.

THE YIELD Holly Springs is one of two campuses launched by Crescent Communities’ life sciences division, THE YIELD, since its inception in 2023. THE YIELD North presents an ±83-acre shovel-ready development opportunity in Holly Springs, adjacent to Genentech and Amgen and zoned for innovative manufacturing.
