Medical Device Company Bioretec to Lay Off Two Employees, Make Other Staff Changes

06:14 AM EST, 12/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bioretec (BRETEC.HE) on Thursday completed the change negotiations that started Nov. 19 to help improve its competitiveness and profitability. The Finnish medical device company said in a same-day release that it will dismiss two employees, temporarily lay off five production staff, and significantly change the job description of one role as a result of the talks, which involved 15 of its Finland-based workers. The changes are expected to generate cost savings of 400,000 euros per year.
