British Land to Take WPP's Spot in FTSE 100 Index

12:08 AM EST, 12/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- British Land (BLND.L) will be joining the FTSE 100 Index, replacing advertising group WPP (WPP.L), according to a Wednesday statement from index provider FTSE Russell. The property company will be leaving the FTSE 250 index, with WPP taking its spot. Also joining the FTSE 250 are GB Group (GBG.L), Pan African Resources (PAF.L, PAN.JO), Princes Group (PRN.L), and Shawbrook Group (SHAW.L), replacing European Opportunities Trust (EOT.L), Foresight Solar Fund (FSFL.L), PayPoint (PAY.L), and Pinewood Technologies Group (PINE.L). All changes to the indices will take effect from Dec. 22.
