Caspian Sunrise Extends License Over Deep Structure at Kazakh Oil Asset

05:35 AM EST, 12/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Caspian Sunrise (CASP.L) said the Kazakh government extended its previous estimation license for the Yelemes deep structure at its BNG contract area in Kazakhstan by an additional two years. The oil and gas company's previous license expired in August 2024, according to a Wednesday filing. Caspian now intends to resume its exploration activities at the site's Deep Well 803, where oil resources were previously detected. Caspian added that it may also submit an application for an independent 25-year production license for the Yelemes structure.
