01:35 AM EST, 12/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Airbus (AIR.PA, AIR.F) on Wednesday lowered its aircraft delivery target for full-year 2025 amid ongoing inspections for defects on A320 fuselage panels. The French aircraft manufacturer aims to deliver 790 commercial aircraft for the year. In its third-quarter results, the company said it expected to deliver 820 aircraft. The revision follows the company's statement that defects on A320 fuselage panels could be affecting an estimated 628 planes, including 100 jets earmarked for delivery in 2025. Meanwhile, Airbus affirmed its financial guidance for the year, including for adjusted EBIT of 7 billion euros.
