V Gallant to open Malaysia’s first GPU-powered workspace

Malaysia is accelerating its push into artificial intelligence (AI), backed by new national initiatives, talent development programmes and increased public-sector adoption.

All of these efforts signal the country’s intent to position itself as a regional AI hub by 2030. At the same time, Budget 2026 has earmarked new allocations to support digital transformation, and AI councils at the state and federal levels spur local innovation.

Despite this momentum, challenges remain. While AI adoption in Malaysia has surged, with Amazon Web Services reporting year-on-year growth of more than 30%, many organisations still lack affordable compute resources, in-house expertise, or clear implementation pathways.

These gaps often leave businesses enthusiastic about AI but uncertain about where to begin.

A purpose-built AI workspace

Against this evolving landscape, local industry players are stepping forward to close the gap.

One such effort is V Gallant’s upcoming GPU Lounge, an AI-focused co-working and computing hub in KL Eco City, launching this December.

Designed for engineers, founders, researchers, and creative teams, the space provides on-site Blackwell Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) from Nvidia.

These GPUs are engineered to deliver high performance for the demanding computational needs of AI applications, while also addressing power efficiency challenges typical of intensive AI workloads.

This makes them ideal for model training, prototyping and experimentation, resources that are typically costly and difficult for smaller teams to access.

With 10Gbps high-speed connectivity, AI teams will be able to build, train and deploy models faster, significantly reducing upload and download bottlenecks for large datasets.

By lowering infrastructure barriers, the lounge supports Malaysia’s ongoing push to expand its AI talent ecosystem, an effort projected to create up to 500,000 new AI-related jobs in the coming years.

Beyond easing compute access, the lounge will also serve as a venue for workshops, meetups and community events, providing a collaborative environment for skill-building and knowledge exchange.

AI consulting for real-world business needs

As adoption grows, Malaysian businesses increasingly recognise the need for structured, strategic guidance when integrating AI into their operations.

V Gallant’s consulting arm supports this by providing end-to-end services encompassing discovery, prototyping, AI model development and deployment.

The team helps companies integrate AI into existing systems such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, customer relationship management (CRM) platforms and internal databases.

These integrations allow organisations to automate processes, improve accuracy and enhance decision-making, outcomes that often require specialist expertise to execute effectively.

Strong data governance is a central principle: clients retain full control over their data, while a local engineering team provides on-site support and knowledge transfer to ensure sustainable, long-term capability building.

In many cases, consulting engagements are paired with V Gallant’s intelligence platform, IntelliX, giving businesses a complete pathway from exploration to full-scale AI deployment.

Malaysia’s next-generation intelligence platform

Complementing the lounge and consulting services is the rollout of IntelliX, a next-generation intelligence platform designed to help organisations translate their data into insights, automate reporting and streamline decision-making processes.

Scheduled to launch in February 2026, IntelliX is positioned as an affordable, secure and enterprise-ready alternative to traditional business intelligence (BI) tools and generic generative pre-trained transformer-based (GPT) models.

The platform supports automated reporting, department-level insights, business data queries and workflow automation, capabilities that align with Malaysia’s broader aim of strengthening data-driven decision-making across industries.

As more companies explore automation, predictive insights and intelligent workflows, accessible infrastructure and strategic guidance will play a crucial role in accelerating national adoption.

Together, V Gallant’s offerings support Malaysia’s goal of cultivating an AI-ready workforce, advancing digital transformation and nurturing a robust innovation ecosystem capable of producing AI technologies.
