The Australian government announced on the 4th that it will provide another package of military aid worth 95 million Australian dollars to Ukraine, making the total amount of Australian aid to Ukraine more than 1.7 billion Australian dollars. Australian Defense Secretary Richard Mars, Foreign Minister Wong Ying-yin, and Defense Industry Minister Pat Conroy issued a joint statement saying that the new aid will provide 50 million Australian dollars to the “Ukrainian Priority Needs List”, which aims to provide Ukraine with critical military equipment. Australia will also provide Ukraine with an additional aid worth 43 million Australian dollars worth of materials and equipment, covering tactical air defense radars, ammunition, and combat engineering equipment. Additionally, Australia will provide 2 million Australian dollars to the “Drone Capabilities Coalition”, which aims to provide Ukraine with advanced drone technology.
