According to China Aerospace, on December 3, the 110-ton long-range test run of Liqing 2, the country's largest needle-bolted liquid oxygen kerosene engine, was completed. The cumulative test time reached 140 seconds, and the longest stable operation in a single run was 120 seconds. All test targets were achieved once. Following successful ground verification of the engine, the company plans to take the opportunity to launch a sub-orbital flight test mission for the Lihong-1 Yao1 aircraft in the near future. This test will focus on verifying the return deceleration and recovery technology of the returnable payload module back into the atmosphere, and also verifying key techniques for accurate landing point control of the rocket sub-stage return.
